Who can apply?
- US-based business that exports (or plans to export) goods or services with at least some US content.
- Underserved Markets Program (100% coverage): new to EXIM, total annual sales under $10 million, fewer than 100 employees, and otherwise qualifying as a small business under SBA size standards.
- Standard program: 90% guarantee coverage for a broader range of exporters.
What do you get?
- Funds materials, equipment, supplies, and labor needed to fulfill export orders.
- Can back standby letters of credit used as bid, performance, or payment bonds.
- Expands the borrowing base available against export-related collateral.
