Objectives

Improve the competitive position of small exporters and import-affected businesses through larger, longer-term guaranteed financing than Export Express offers.

  • Small business under SBA size standards.
  • Loan proceeds must support export expansion or competitiveness against import competition.
  • Terms up to 25 years depending on use of funds.

  • Loans up to $5 million.
  • Guarantee up to 90% for small manufacturers (up from the standard 75%).
  • Usable for facilities, equipment, working capital, debt refinance, or business acquisition tied to trade competitiveness.

How to apply

Apply through an SBA-participating 7(a) lender, submitting SBA Form 4 and required exhibits.
